Yesterday we left Fort Pierce in the morning to sail through narrow channels to Vero Beach. There were some strong winds in the forecast so we decide to take advantage of the mooring field at the Vero Beach City Marina.
Today is Will’s 20’s birthday. Winds are still at 20kts gusting to 30kts. We took the time to get some stuff at Wal-mart and also acquired some binoculars at West Marine, transportation provided by Indian River Transportation. Bill, the bus driver with an attitude provided plenty of entertainment on those rather long rides. We’re planning to have dinner out tonight to celebrate Will’s birthday.
