The other morning my boss Colin came into the shop and asking me if I was interested in a Tartan 27. He mentioned that we had recently replaced the standing rigging on it and that the previous owner also had put a new diesel engine in it. The boat was offered to Colin for $2000 but he didn’t have the time to take care of it. This seemed like to good to be true and I asked him for the contact information.
After looking at Carpe Diem yesterday and talking with my very best friend Hartmuth who would lend me the money to buy the boat, I signed an agreement with Pat Cass to buy his Tartan 27.
