The last 4 days I have spent looking for a trailerpark or campground in Stuart Florida that was close to work and would allow cats. The list was rather short and I had only two places to look at.
Today I went to Stuart to take a look and was supprised how little space they allow for each trailer at the first stop. On the way to the second park I discovered another one in Hobe Sound that looked much nicer then the last and it also had a bunch of boats parked in front of it. I thought that was a good fit since I also had to find a place for “The Green Gecko” my 18′ Interlake that I brought with me today. The people that owned the place seemed rather friendly and didn’t mind the cats either. The price was a little more than the other two places but it was only 5 minutes to work from here. When I mentioned to the manager that I had one more place to look at, he responded that it would be a waste of time. I should have listened because that trailer park was atrocious. So I went back to leave my first month rent, park the boat and take a look at the lot at the very end of the park with only one neighbour to the left and pine woods in the back. Very lovely!
On the way back I also signed up for a unit at a storage place and put away all my belongings in a 4’x4′ locker.
